Chavurah Program
A community within a community, Chavurah (Hebrew for “friendship group”) is a special program which enables the members of our congregation to get acquainted in smaller, more intimate friendship groups based upon compatible needs and interests. The Chavurah program is available to members of Temple Beth Sholom and provides a wonderful way to get to know others and to build lasting friendships with fellow synagogue members. It is one of the many ways to enhance your experience as a Temple member.
How do I join a Chavurah?
Download our Chavurah Questionnaire and return it to the TBS Office. You will be contacted soon afterwards. New Chavurot are formed on the basis of age, children, spheres of interest, etc. You will be placed in a Chavurah if there is a current opening that matches your interests or a new group conducive to your needs.
