The month of January is our "Month of Mitzvot" where we aim to do as many mitzvot (loosely translated to "good deed") as we can. There are plenty of opportunities to participate and do a mitzvah as part of the Sholom Tikvah Experience, but we also encourage you to a mitzvah whenever you see the opportunity. As we work towards tikkun olam, we invite you to join us at the different events below.

This year, we are partnering with Beads of Courage, Inc. - a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and teens coping with serious illness, their families, and the clinicians who care for them through our Arts-in-Medicine Programs. They believe in creating a context for caring transactions to transpire through our community and encouragement programs.
Since 2005, Beads of Courage, Inc. has established collaborative partnerships in caring with hundreds of hospitals nationally and internationally including CHOC/Rady Children's Hospital, and worked with several community organizations to make healing happen through the use of beads as a historical art form.
Through their programs, they provide the opportunity for COURAGE to be honored, HOPE to be given, and JOY to be experienced.
