Please join us as we present a local author, Linda Abbit who is addressing a growing topic of need. In addition to her professional role as an Outreach Manager for the innovative Mind and Memory outreach program at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, Linda has over 25 years of experience in the role of a caregiver. Linda has compiled her dedicated experience in a book titled The Conscious Caregiver: A Mindful Approach to Caring for Your Loved One Without Losing Yourself. Her presentation will share how to navigate caring for a loved one with practical and logical methods during a time that can be demanding and stressful for the caregiver. In addition to making the journey less stressful for the caretaker, Linda will address maintaining the care of the recipient's dignity and self-respect. Linda's book is available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble. She will be happy to autograph your book after her presentation on March 6th, in the Chapel after her presentation from 10:00 to 11:30.
