TBS Brotherhood

The Brotherhood (Men’s Club) at Temple Beth Sholom offers a variety of activities. There are opportunities for social and educational events, as well as Temple and community service. We are proud of the accomplishments of this group of remarkable gentlemen who work hard to support the youth programs of the Temple. All men at TBS are welcome to participate. Upcoming Events:

TBS Brotherhood Speaker Series Future dates

April 8, 2018 – Rabbi Peter Levi

Rabbi Peter Levi is a veteran Jewish community professional with experiences in community relations and interfaith affairs. After leading congregations for more than a decade at the Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Los Angeles, Temple Chai in Phoenix and Temple Beth El in South Orange County, he now directs the Anti-Defamation League’s Orange County/Long Beach Regional Office, serves as president of the Orange County Board of Rabbis, participates in the Orange County Sheriff’s Interfaith Advisory Council and serves on the editorial board of the CCAR Journal: The Reform Jewish Quarterly.

Hear about anti- Semitism in our area and the country.  Not to be missed.

May 6, 2018 – David Savlowitz

David is Founder and CEO of Competitive Analytics in Costa Mesa. He is also a professor at UCI teaching “Mastering Predictive Analytics” for the new MBA program.  His business helps the world’s most successful organizations analyze their data and competitive forces affecting them. His company analysts have a passion for applying a highly objective and innovative analytic approach using science and mathematics

David is back by popular demand to explain where our economy is heading and the effects of the new Tax Act. He is one of the most knowledgeable people about these items that one can find.

June 10, 2018 – Brad Wenneberg

Brad wasn’t always a 7th degree Black belt. Nor was he always a teacher, mentor, community leader and man of conviction. He was, however, an alcoholic spinning out of control- so much so that he found himself on the wrong end of a gun one warm spring evening.

Listen to Brad’s story of complete transformation.

Unless otherwise noted, all speakers will be in the Temple Beth Sholom Amster Conference Room
Bagels & Cream Cheese will be served.
This event is free of charge and open to everyone.

Please RSVP so we can get a head count for the food.
